    hotel looks stunning from the outside, right on the doorstep of the medina so perfectly placed for sights within the old city. we had a standard double room. not particularly spacious and AC didn't work particularly well. however it was still comfortable. nice breakfast.

    It is a nice stay for 1 or 2 nights. The ambience is beautiful. The hotel is directly located at Bab el Bahr with its fountains and evening illumination. You are between Avenue Bourgiba and medina. My room had a little balcony with a nice view over the square. From the outside and the reception a remarkable building. But do not expect a 4 star property. Rooms are run down and not really clean. But I slept well. The hotel is offering typically Tunesian breakfast with a good variety. If you are after 4 star amenities this hotel will disappoint. If you like historic building (old British embassy), you will like it.
