    Perfect location at the beginning of the Medina and to the main pedestrian street. The hotel has a worn turn of the century charm. Breakfast was basic- good coffee. However, the staff could not have been more accommodating in helping to schedule tours, make recommendations, stored luggage for several days (side trip to Libya). Shout out to the hotel manager Lofti!

    We stayed a total of total of 9 nights on two occasions in Sept/Oct. Good value for money, beyond excellent staff providing friendship, help (I was pick pocketed and they provide help with contacting police and obtaining an event report) and info about Tunis. The hotel provides a central base for exploring both the Medina and Old Tunis. Many friendly, affordable and non-tourist restaurants in the area. An excellent breakfast every day in a building that just an amazing historic gem.

    The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location was convenient for getting around by taxi, and the breakfast was great, especially the scrambled eggs with tomatoes, which were delicious! The room was comfortable and spacious. However, I did find some hair from a previous guest on the duvet, so the cleanliness could be improved. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but I hope the hotel can pay more attention to the room cleaning.
