The room was spacious, clean and bright. A/c was functional but could be better. Bathroom was tiny. Receptionists were nice, friendly and helpful.

The lady at front desk is exceptional friendly and helpful. Parking worked out great both times we have stayed. They have very limited parking of two spaces. Cost reasonable for Toronto $20 parking fee. The hotel its self is charming. Well decorated for what it is, air conditioning took awhile to kick in, but room did cool over the night. Have been twice and if in the area again would stay again. We liked the room on the third floor much better than the room on the 1st floor.

Check in was easy, the staff was amazing. It's not the best part of town , with that said as a single older women, I had no issues walking to the near by restaurant , or corner store. It was quite at night other then the train that stops right out front, super convent transit right at your door. Over all it was a good place to stay.

It may be tempting to grab a “deal” based on the photos on the website. But trust me, they have nothing to do with what you are getting.
1. Not a good location. I understand that this isn’t really their fault, but the hotel is located in what is essentially Toronto’s skid row. Lots of drug use and unhoused people roaming around. So you can’t walk there.
2 it’s a three story building with no elevators, so not suitable for anyone who is unable to drag their suitcase up very narrow and winding stairs.
3. I don’t know about other rooms, but mine was not clean - the kind you won’t take your shoes off in. There were cigarette burns on the blanket and the bathroom was just filthy. There were wet towels inside the shower stall left from the previous guest. More towels under the sink and by the bed. There was dirt caked around the toilet and sink I don’t even want to think about.
I was supposed to stay there for five nights but checked out a day later and went to another hotel. I learned my lesson. I hope someone will read this and avoids this place to begin with.
