Overall good budget stay at this hotel, location wise very near to all the basic facilities, room was provided with extra mattress before hand which was handy for us, sometimes reception person is absent but they help instantly when we contact them.., Service wise very good

Very disappointing experience. The check-in timing shown on Agoda did not match what the property manager told us after we arrived in Ooty. We reached around 8 AM after travelling a long distance and were asked to pay an additional ₹500 cash to accommodate us until the stated check-in time.
The temporary room given to us was extremely dirty, with cigarette ash, a strong unpleasant smell and unclean bedding. Shortly after entering, there was also a power and water issue.
After the water supply was restored, the water coming from the tap was visibly reddish/brick-coloured.
For a short holiday in Ooty, basic cleanliness, hygiene and reliable water should be the minimum expectation. Unfortunately, this stay created unnecessary stress instead of providing a comfortable place to relax.
Agoda should investigate the difference between the check-in information shown on the platform and the standard of this hotel as soon as possible.
