I was a 30+ year journalist whose personal-finance beat included travel-planning. Must say this place is a super value for the $$$. Don't be deceived by the street view of a 1960s motor lodge or 2-star rating on some sites; someone dropped considerable coin reviving this place! The rooms are tastefully beachy and well-furnished, with the thickest mattress set I've encountered at a hotel at any price point! And the grounds in back are remarkably expansive for a 21-room hotel. Staff always greets you with a smile. Add free use of kayaks and paddle boards!
