    sarah c (3 reviews) Our stay has been wonderful. It was clean and comfortable and became a home from home. I was sad to leave and definately recommend! We stayed to have a Celebration of Life for my father- Lisa, the manager, could not have been more kind, supportive and accommodating. Any minor request or hiccup was easily and happily corrected. All of the staff were friendly and kind, especially Emma looking after everyone with food and drinks. I felt so looked after which is rare. If I loved nearer I'd want to work with these lovely people- Joel and Steve on the bar were great too. Vicky's buffet was wonderful: there were very complicated dietary requirements which she managed brilliantly making food for gluten/ dairy free/ vegan/ vegetarian...and non fussy carnivores! She made beautiful sandwhiches, catering to all our requests and a lovely healthy salad as well as the usual buffet food. She put alot of thought and care into it and eveyone said how good it was. I also recommend her onion rings and fish! We will be back and hope to book for our next family function. Thanks team :-)

    After a very long journey we were met with the warmest welcome. We enjoyed the best fish and chips we had had in a long time. The bar was so friendly and cosy and the bedroom was absolutely beautiful. The most comfortable stay amongst what felt like a wonderful community. My husband and I realised just how important it is to support local hotels rather than chains as it was by far a much greater experience.
