It is always a pleasure to return to RIN. The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. The fitness centre is great.

I stayed at RIN Airport Hotel for two nights mainly because I wanted somewhere close to Therme Spa and the airport, and for that purpose it worked well. The location was convenient, the hotel was clean, and it suited what I needed for a short stay. However, one thing I found disappointing was the communication. For a hotel so close to an international airport and popular tourist attractions, I expected the front desk staff to have a better understanding of English. At times it was difficult to communicate, and unfortunately I was given incorrect information when asking about the Uber pickup point. I even showed the receptionist my phone, and although she reassured me it was correct, it turned out to be a completely different area. I think if staff are unsure, it would be better to simply say they don’t know rather than provide incorrect directions. Another downside was that guests had to pay extra to use the gym and pool facilities. In many hotels, these amenities are included in the stay, so that was disappointing. It would also be great if the hotel considered more inclusive package options. Overall, it was okay for a short trip, especially for visiting Therme Spa, but there are definitely areas where the guest experience could be improved.

We arrived 90 minutes before the official check in time but were able to access our room straight away which was great. The room was a good size, comfortable beds and nice bathroom. The WiFi signal was weak but worked ok. The TV reception was poor, there were lots of channels listed in the guide but most of them did not work. It was good to have toiletries in the bathroom but the conditioner bottle was empty. The reading light for one of the beds did not work. There was plenty of choice at breakfast but the overhead heat lamps did not keep the hot buffet very warm. Breakfast was definitely not worth 20 Euros per person. We went to look at the swimming pool during the afternoon which was in complete darkness with nobody on reception. Hotel guests get 50% off to use the pool and gym, this was also definitely not worth 15 Euros per person. We went out for the day, arriving back at the hotel around 9pm. The car park attendant was not there and there were no parking spaces left. We therefore had to wait in the car park for another car to leave before he could park our car which was frustrating. After a very long day out we got back to our room to discover that neither key card would work. I left my husband in the corridor outside the room while I went back to reception to get the keys reprogrammed, this was done quickly but with no explanation as to why neither key would work. I was paying by card to check out and asked to add the car park to the bill so I could pay it all together. The receptionist told me I had to pay cash at the barrier which I knew was not correct as I had added the previous days parking to the room bill. When I explained that I'd done it the previous day I was suddenly able to do it again. The hotel location is good if you are going to or from the airport but we would not stay there again.
