This is my second stay at Rhymney House Hotel. The rate is excellent for what you get It's an old fashioned hotel with great ambience. All the staff are kind and attentive and they all go out of their way to help you. Meals are home cooked at incredibly cheap prices. There is a nicely stocked bar here with excellent prices for beer and spirits. The rooms are a little dated but they are beautifully cleaned with all freshly cleaned linen. There is a free breakfast every morning which is cooked to order. So delicious. It's so close to many areas like Merthyr Tydfil centre and the Brecon Beacons for walking. Everything was good!
This is a hotel with a restaurant on the ground floor.
We stayed in a triple room with one single bed and one double bed, and a private bathroom — great value for money.
It was comfortable and convenient for visiting Brecon Beacons.
Free Wi-Fi and parking were available, and breakfast was included.
