Having been to Hoi An before I wanted to avoid the chaos in the town. This was a good choice. A quick grab taxi to the city for when you need it, plus they have their own shuttle service. Good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff everywhere. Clean rooms. Cocktails by the pool overlooking the rice paddies. Everything I asked for was provided.

Best hotel I’ve been to. Not exaggerating at all! I’ll give 10 stars if I could. Staff were so helpful and friendly! One lady helped me out with my emergency, I’m so grateful! Location is quiet and lovely outside of the bustling city. Yet close by bike! My stay in Hoi a wouldn’t be as wonderful if I stayed anywhere else.

I was targeted by a phishing attempt directly linked to my booking at Reu Boutique Hotel. The attacker had accurate details (name, dates, hotel name) and tried to get my card information through a fake verification link. This strongly suggests that my booking data was exposed or leaked. I immediately reported the incident and contacted the hotel via Agoda. I was told an investigation would be conducted and that I would be updated. I followed up again at check-in and at check-out. I never received any response. This is a serious matter. Under Vietnam’s data protection regulations (Decree 13/2023/NĐ-CP), the hotel is expected to investigate and inform affected customers. No communication or transparency was provided. It’s disappointing because the stay itself was otherwise very pleasant: nice property, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. However, the lack of response to a potential data breach shows a clear failure to take customer data security seriously. Until this is addressed properly, I cannot recommend this hotel.
