This hotel is beautiful. The breakfast is delicious and varied, the pool is gorgeous, and the room was stunning. I couldn’t fault a single thing. This is the nicest place we have ever stayed!

Although Reu is located a distance away from the old town, it’s rly great to stay in the more peaceful side of town while still being relatively close to most places within Hoi An. They also provided bicycles for rental which allowed us to explore the rice fields behind their backyard as well as head to old town.

I was targeted by a phishing attempt directly linked to my booking at Reu Boutique Hotel. The attacker had accurate details (name, dates, hotel name) and tried to get my card information through a fake verification link. This strongly suggests that my booking data was exposed or leaked. I immediately reported the incident and contacted the hotel via Agoda. I was told an investigation would be conducted and that I would be updated. I followed up again at check-in and at check-out. I never received any response. This is a serious matter. Under Vietnam’s data protection regulations (Decree 13/2023/NĐ-CP), the hotel is expected to investigate and inform affected customers. No communication or transparency was provided. It’s disappointing because the stay itself was otherwise very pleasant: nice property, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. However, the lack of response to a potential data breach shows a clear failure to take customer data security seriously. Until this is addressed properly, I cannot recommend this hotel.
