Tha facility was really nice. The staff was excellent!!! Extremely attentive to guests. I will definitely visit again! They had a great complimentary breakfast. The setting was near so many stores and restaurants. .Sam at the front desk was terrific!!!

staff was very nice and the place looks much better then last time i was there you need to trim the bushs shrubs grass and grounds it would give much better curb appeal i'll be back in a few months and i'll see if you fixed up the grounds!

Overall, we had a relaxing family trip, and the location was convenient for visiting Mystic’s attractions. However, our experience at the hotel left much to be desired. The property is dated, with worn finishes, chipped doors, and rooms that could use updating. I booked this hotel understanding it was a budget-friendly option, so I wasn’t expect luxury. My expectations were simply a clean room, basic hospitality, and clear communication. The biggest disappointment was the housekeeping. We checked in on July 24 and, during our three-night stay, did not receive housekeeping service. I understand that some hotels have limited housekeeping policies. However, if housekeeping is only provided upon request or not provided during shorter stays, that should be clearly communicated to guests at check-in or during the booking process. Before leaving for the Mystic Seaport Museum with my children early in the afternoon on July 26, I stopped by the front desk and specifically requested that our room be serviced, expecting to return to fresh towels, emptied trash, and clean linens. When we returned several hours later, nothing had been done. When I followed up, I was told to leave our trash outside the room. Later that evening, I met the housekeeping staff at the door and exchanged our used towels for fresh ones. At that point, my kids and I decided we would just manage the room ourselves for our final night. Thankfully, I had packed Lysol spray and disinfecting wipes, so I was able to keep the room clean myself throughout our stay. The most concerning experience happened on our checkout day when hotel staff unlocked and opened our room door without knocking first, apparently to see whether we had checked out. Thankfully, we were inside. Regardless of whether it was close to checkout time, guests deserve the courtesy of having their privacy respected. Staff should always knock, announce themselves, and allow a reasonable opportunity to respond before entering an occupied room. There are positives to this hotel, including its convenient location and affordability, but better communication, more consistent housekeeping, and greater respect for guest privacy would make a significant difference.
