    Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed with our stay. I do want to say that the owners/staff we interacted with were very nice, and we had no issues with how we were treated personally. The biggest issue was the overall cleanliness and condition of the hotel. Our room had a strong musty/moldy smell, and we found a dirty sock left on the floor from a previous guest. The carpets and common areas also seemed like they really needed a deep cleaning. There was liquid on the floor in one area that appeared to possibly be from a pet, with a caution sign placed by it rather than it being cleaned up, and when we left there was garbage outside, including a large black garbage bag on the ground. Breakfast was also disappointing. The dining area floor was dirty with quite a bit of hair and debris, and unfortunately we didn’t feel well after eating. We were also very surprised that two cocktails, one beer, and an orange juice came to around $60. I hate leaving a negative review because the people we encountered were kind, but for the price of a hotel stay, cleanliness is extremely important, especially when traveling with children. I did reach out to the hotel directly about our experience and am currently waiting for a response. I’m hoping they will acknowledge the issues and offer some type of resolution or compensation. I would be happy to update my review based on how the situation is handled.
