    Overall, food provided was good. Room had some water leaks (from the aircond), and bathroom was decent. Though there are some construction going on right now so it is a bit noisy and the views from my room was part construction haha. The snorkel trips were fun and well planned - but a bit more information on the turtles and how to respect these wildlife animals would make a difference. Other tourists were not respecting the turtles (some were shoving and kicking the turtles).

    The only thing we disliked was the deluxe room which smelled and always feeling wet/humid. Bathroom needs maintenance due to strong smell. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay there, organization of meals and snorkeling trips is very well managed. Friendly staff. Some construction noise within the resort too. Hope it will be renovated and all humidity issues fixed properly.

    I paid RM1,692.71 for 3D2N at Redang Holiday Beach Resort, and honestly, for that price I expected at least a decent basic standard. I booked this place because the reviews looked good, but unfortunately my experience was totally different. When I first checked in, the room was already disappointing. The floor was dirty, sandy and sticky, which made me wonder whether the room had been properly cleaned before we arrived. The aircond was sometimes cold and sometimes not. After I complained, the staff told me they had topped up the aircond gas, but even after that, the problem was still the same ; sometimes cold, sometimes not. No TV, no fridge, and not even mineral water was provided in the room. We had to buy our own. The buffet was probably the biggest disappointment. Very limited choices and honestly the food felt more like something you would get at a basic camp rather than a beach resort. Even some 2-star hotels provide much better buffet selections. There were foreign tourists staying here too, and I actually felt embarrassed seeing this kind of food selection being served to them. I’m not expecting 5-star luxury, but when you charge almost RM1.7k for 3D2N, at least make the basic facilities, room and food worth the money. Based on what I paid and what I received, I definitely don’t think it was worth the price. Once is enough for me.!
