Rawnsley Park Station

We had a wonderful 3 nights stay at Rawnsley Park Eco Villa. The villa was very well equipped, with excellent breakfast provisions including good-quality bacon and eggs, delicious juices, plus thoughtful extras such as a bottle of Barossa red, olive oil and dukkah. The accessible walking trails around the villa were a real highlight, with beautiful views of Rawnsley Bluff and the Elder Range. We also enjoyed dinner at the Woodshed Restaurant — great service and quality food, but booking is essential as it was fully booked during our stay. One tip: if you’re hoping to do a scenic flight or helicopter ride, plan well ahead as we couldn’t secure a booking during our stay. Overall, a fantastic base for enjoying the Flinders Ranges.

What an incredible experience staying at the Eco Villas at Rawnsley Park Station. The view was absolutely spectacular. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into where each villa has been positioned and how it takes advantage of the surrounding landscape. What really stood out to us was that each villa seems to offer its own slightly different experience because of its location and outlook. It makes the whole setup feel incredibly well planned and gives each villa something unique. The villa itself was exceptionally clean, comfortable and very well appointed. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. Even the smallest details had been thought of, if there was something you might have forgotten to bring, chances were they had already considered it and had it readily available. The staff were also fantastic. If there was anything we needed or had a question about, they were readily available and more than happy to help. The entire experience was incredibly well thought out, planned and executed to a tee. It's obvious that a lot of care has gone into not only the villas themselves, but the entire experience of staying there. Would we stay again? Most definitely. Rawnsley Park Station was already a place I loved, and after this stay, I think I love it even more. And would we recommend staying in one of the Eco Villas? Without hesitation. Regardless of the price point, our advice would simply be, just do it. It is an experience you will never regret and one you certainly won't forget. We can't wait to come back!

I had shocking weather and had to leave early or risk being flooded in. Also whole point of travel was to fly over lake eyre and this was cancelled - nothing staff could do but there was no refund for the night I didn’t use

We picked a perfect Winter weather weekend to stay at Rawnsley Park Station in the Flinders Ranges. Our first time there and first time back to the area since we had been young teenagers (now 50). The Eco Villa was well worth the money. Very clean and well looked after and had all the privacy we needed for a little weekend getaway. The breakfast and welcome provisions were delightfully generous. The views from our private balcony were breathtaking where we could enjoy both the sunset and sunrise. The retractable part of the ceiling was an added bonus during the night especially with a full moon in a clear sky. Loved it so much we look forward to going back next year.
