    Returnd back to LGW in early hours, so needed a stop over. Checked in easily ar 2am, checked out at 11am. Food options available at services. Basic room but had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable.

    Firstly it took us ages to get to this hotel because the carpark the Ramada uses for guests is the same one that the public uses for restaurants at the service station. So when we arrived there was a huge car show going on so there was hundreds of people trying to get off the motorway to attend the show, as well as other motorists who just want to use the service station. So we were stuck in traffic for approx an hour to get to our hotel, once we came off the motorway. Then when we finally got into the carpark we couldn't find a space, so I left my daughter in the car, parked where the motorbikes were, and quickly ran in to ask the receptionist where we could find a space & ask why isn't there allocated spaces for the hotel guests? In reply she was very rude saying, she hasn't no idea where we could park as the carpark doesn't belong to the hotel, as its shared. Then said I could leave the car where it is then at 11pm I could move it once the show was over. Anyway she was very rude & uncaring that I was stressed about parking my car. Even when we checked in to collect room key she didn't tell us where to find our room, so we had to find it ourself out of hundreds of rooms. The room itself was nice and spacious but noise from the constant revving of car engines and motorbikes ruined our stay. I did say to the receptionist that the guests should have been told about this massive car show on the day, so that we couldn't decide whether or not to book there but she reckoned she didn't know it was happening, although I was told by another guest that this car show happens at that service station every month!!!!:-/ So I would google it before booking if you're thinking of staying here but ideally I wouldn't bother!!!
