    Great, modern hotel in the heart of all the action. However noise from the street does get into the rooms - even on the 11th floor. Otherwise an excellent place to stay for a weekend etc

    The staff, overall comfort and cleanliness are all great but the rooms are getting a little bit tired. The desk surface was heavily worn, there are no USB charging outlets anywhere and the lack of a plug socket close to the bed for a charger, CPAP machine etc. were the main let downs. The positioning of the full length mirror, in the darkest part of the room, seemed an odd choice too.

    Location is great for downtown Bristol .close to the bars / habour. Rooms are very large,spacious and well laid out. Furniture in the rooms is dated with solid 70s style wardrobe and faux leather desk . Both had big chunks missing and deep scratches. What was completely disappointing was the check in experience with 3 receptionists and a supervisor walking round without any sense of purpose and agency. Once I got into the line there was 1 person waiting . After the inordinate amount of time (15mins) plus I was still waiting to get my room key and there was a significant queue who were really over this lwaiting around for them to sort their shit out.. This was well after the 3.00 check in bun fight that I witnessed.and decided to go for a pint at O Neil's just around the corner. In all honesty a frigging joke trying to check in here.
