    I booked because this hotel had a good rating based on reviews (6.5). I don’t require much: a clean decent bed and coffee and a bagel in the morning. I don’t care if it’s an old building as long as it’s clean. This place was recently renovated outside and in the lobby. That was where the renovations stopped. I took ample pictures because I was not about to lose my room deposit (an additional fee upon arrival) over the worst stay I have ever had. I was too tired to argue or complain to staff or I would have left. If I had not ended up leaving my kids with grandparents, I would have been immediately at the front desk though I suspect this is not a singular room problem. The room had been smoked in and the black n mild tips and cigarette butts were strewn about the balcony along with someone else’s trash. No attempt beyond making the stained and ripped bedding was made in cleaning. The bathroom was dirty with previous occupants body hair although it had been nicely updated at some point (just not cleaned since). This appears to be a hotel people rent to get drunk and smoke in, as evidenced by the vomit stain down the mattress. There were no bed bugs at least. This property is independently owned and it shows.

    There were maggots in the hall outside the room. Smoke detector was disabled. Black mold in room and bathroom. Fruit flies everywhere. Molding were off the wall.

    The only thing bad about this place is the lady that runs from this sometimes she and ugly lady to everybody
