The room was dark, dingy, and dirty. I had to literally wash my feet before I got into bed; the floor was so dirty.
Then the power went out for two hours, so it was very hot, too.
When I got up during the night, I found the room was infested with little German cockroaches a'scurrying. That made going back to sleep problematic, but I was too honestly too exhausted to care at that point. I got up at dawn and continued on my way; yet another location added to my "never again" list.
