    We had to change rooms post check-in due to ripped floor in the allotted room. In the changed room, the bathroom toilet seat was of poor quality. The water quality (for bath and otherwise) was poor.

    I stayed at this hotel for 2 days after seeing good reviews online, but my experience was far from satisfactory. The hotel lacks even the most basic amenities — no slippers, no dental kit, and the bath kit provided was of very poor quality. The condition of the room was equally disappointing. The tap was broken, and the bedsheet was visibly dirty. Even after repeatedly requesting a change of bedsheet, the staff was unwilling to replace it. This shows a complete lack of hygiene and customer care. To make matters worse, they try to bluff guests about local sightseeing cab charges, quoting inflated prices and misleading information just to make extra money. For the amount they charge, the service, cleanliness, and honesty were absolutely unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable or trustworthy stay in Darjeeling.
