    This is my solo short trip and my stay at the hotel was exceptional. I spent most of the time at the hotel and the staff who I encountered were very friendly and some of them even remember my preferences, even I was there just for two days. I remember their names, Alva at the restaurant, Jane the massage therapist and Linda at the bar. Will be back again for my future trip in Sanya.

    We had a lovely stay at the hotel. My little boy loved the soft play, water slides and kids activities. It’s close to the airport and not far from the Nanshan temple complex too. We got around easily using DiDi. Maria was super helpful recommending malls and markets for us.

    The location is decent—close to the beach area—but check-in was quite chaotic. The hotel was crowded with tour groups, many of whom requested late check-outs (up to half a day), causing significant delays. I had to wait about 30 minutes for my room, and unfortunately, some guests cut the check-in queue without staff intervention. This should be better managed, as staff should take note of the actual order of arrival. A complimentary welcome drink was offered during the wait, which was appreciated. While enjoying the drink, we inquired at the reception about water activities but were told to check with the bellboy instead—who was actually very helpful. Once we got to the room, the floor was quite sandy and the bathroom amenities were very limited—only a toothbrush, toothpaste, and comb were provided. No cotton buds, shower cap, or other typical toiletries. A major concern was the bathroom design: the glass wall appeared pitch black from inside, but from the outside, the reflective mirror allowed visibility into the bathroom. This was extremely uncomfortable. I raised the issue with the reception staff, who relayed it to the manager. Initially, I was told the feedback was "noted," but I had to insist further before the manager met with me personally. He mentioned the hotel had been operating for 10 years and no other guest had raised this issue before. I suggested a room change myself and was shown two alternatives. I chose the Chinese-style room, which had a connecting door and a smaller bathroom mirror. Although some visibility remained, it was less intrusive. Breakfast was underwhelming—options were limited and the quality was below average. I would recommend skipping the breakfast and ordering food delivery instead. Overall, while the location and staff friendliness were positives, the check-in process, room cleanliness, privacy concerns, and breakfast quality need serious improvement.
