    It's a nice hotel. The grounds are stunning. The rooms are great. However, the upkeep and the level of service were questionable for a hotel of this brand. Off season, so I understand that it's an opportunity for a bit of maintenance; 2 small pools were being updated/fixed. Fine. But seeing workers spit into it - not fine. The main pool that was open was consistently littered with dead bugs. It never appeared to get cleaned out. Only 2 parasols around sunbeds available - not enough for everyone. Pool bar - joke. Ants all over the bottles on display on the counter. Didn't appear to be any drinks (or anything!) within the bar itself. Though a blackboard clearly stated Happy Hour - when I went to order a drink, it was as if the staff member had never seen a customer before. Jumped off his phone, randomly lifting and moving things, panicked, before calling another member of staff. This drives me mad! Train your staff, or place trained staff accordingly. When a waiter with a menu finally came we just couldn't be bothered. Additionally, drinks were extortionately priced. $11 for a glass of wine when they are $3 in the town. $4 for a mini bar coca cola. I wouldn't mind if it was actually a 4/5 star experience but it was not. The spa was entirely unattended. I appreciate they'll say "you have to call reception" but that's not the same experience when you want to browse and enquire. Location is a solid 15 min drive into town which would have been fine if i'd wanted to spend more time in the resort but sadly I did not. I appreciate these things may seem trivial but when paying for a Pullman - off season or not - I expect Pullman standards. This was a real let down, especially compared to other Pullman hotels I've stayed in around SEA.

    Beautiful big room but only have one mirror in the bathroom. It would be better if the room have mirror outside the bathroom for dressings up and have brighter light. The room is too dark, air conditioning not cold enough. Toilet doesn’t flush we have to moved another room. Staff are nice and friendly.

    The fact that staff simply don’t care was apparent when we arrived, carried our suitcases up to the front desk and no one even said “Hello, welcome”. They really don’t care. No one calls you back when they said they would, the kid’s bed I requested weeks ahead of time wasn’t set up, requesting shuttle in advance means nothing because it won’t be there. And let’s talk about room service. It was so bad, I couldn’t believe we are in a 5 star hotel. The milk in my coffee was obviously spoiled, the “pastry basket” that should include croissants etc had 4 pieces of old bread in it, and half our order was missing. The resort is completely empty, no one sticks around. For a good reason! I think they’re only surviving because it seems organized tours brings loads of Chinese/korean tourists in in large numbers. The hotel itself, including all rooms and grounds are beautiful, comfortable and well designed.
