Pulangbato Falls Mountain Resort

The staff accomodated us well from the start. During breakfast they serve us delicious foods. At night we went swimming on the cold pool which was relaxing. Definitely would go back to try the Villa Lydia next.

We stayed at Pulangbato Falls Mountain Resort and were impressed by how huge the place is. Its biggest advantage is definitely the location—it’s right where the falls is, so you get beautiful mountain and nature views without having to travel far once you’re there. We booked a one-bedroom house for four people, and we honestly didn’t expect it to be that spacious. There was more than enough room for all four of us, which was a pleasant surprise. The resort is quite far from the city, so it’s something to consider when planning your trip. However, the distance is worth it if your main goal is to enjoy the falls, nature, and beautiful mountain views. That said, the house is quite old and could use some repairs and maintenance. The lighting inside and around the property was also a bit dark. Since we arrived in the late evening, the surroundings felt a little eerie, especially with the dim lighting. 😅 If you're someone who enjoys spooky places, though, this might actually be part of the experience! It could even be an interesting spot for those looking for a little ghost-hunting adventure at night. 👻 The complimentary breakfast was simple—not anything extraordinary, but good enough to fill our stomachs and get us started for the day. For us, the resort is better suited for day use or a short overnight stay, especially if your main goal is to enjoy the falls and scenery. The views are definitely the highlight of the place. Overall, Pulangbato Falls Mountain Resort is worth considering for its beautiful location, spacious accommodations, and access to the falls. With some updates, repairs, and better lighting, the experience could be even better.

The location was nice and peaceful. We already expected it to be a little far from the town and other amenities, but it is conveniently located near many of Valencia’s tourist attractions, which made it easy for us to explore the area. The staff were respectful and welcoming, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice addition to our stay. The only issue we experienced was with ants in the room, as some of them managed to get onto our bed. We even had to buy an insect spray ourselves to help get rid of them. A little more attention to pest control and cleaning would definitely improve the experience. However, this did not ruin our stay or prevent us from enjoying the place. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed our time here.

I really enjoyed my stay, the bed is super comfortable, there was a hammock... I could hear birds and the waterfalls. But they are really dishonest people, trying to extort money in such obvious and inelegant ways that it becomes even kind of disgusting.. so it is important to take this into consideration. when I booked I specifically asked for a room with a hammock and a view to the waterfalls and they said they would put me in Cayla's room... I had to cancel my reservation and later made a new one, but for only one night. When I arrived they said that I was in another room.. and although Cayla was available if I wanted to stay at that room I needed to pay 500 more. I said this didn't made any sense and ended up staying at Cayla's anyway without extra fee after I said I was going to give one star for this ridiculous attitude. After all the two rooms (the one they said I was going to be in and Cayla) were side by side, the only extra being the hammock... It would never have been worth 500 more ..why not put hammocks in all the rooms? later when I asked for a motorbike to leave they wanted to charge me 1000 to Valencia!!!!! I said I had payed 200 on the way there.. and so magically someone accepted to take me for 200 and not 1000. I wouldn't stay again because I didn't trust or like them and this takes away a lot of the peace of the location.
