    A great base for exploring (there are treks starting both from the main road outside, as well as behind, and a motorbike rental just across the street). It's a short walk downhill from the main road, in a beautiful shady garden and super cute dog who even went with us on a hike. Shared outdoor showers are large, clean (private room shower is fine, but does get the entire bathroom wet ;)) and some of the nicest I've had. The outdoor dining area and garden is cosy, it truly feels like coming home after a long day. Perfect for chilling and meeting other travelers, and our host Brian and staff were so kind, always reachable (booking tours, taxis, answering questions you name it!) and took such great care of us. Also, the cafe across the street has one of the best salted coffees I tried so far. Would definitely stay again !

    Todo estuvo bien, tomamos el bungalow con baño compartido, el chico fue muy amable. Lo recomiendo para pasar una noche si vienes de Hanoi. El desayuno estuvo bien. Lo único que no nos gustó es que los animales del Homestay son un poco molestos y pesados, a mi me gustan muchos los animales!! pero me gusta comer tranquila sin ningún gato queriendo quitarme la comida, saltando en mi plato o un perro mirándome con cara de pesar. Además que aunque no fue algo que hizo el alojamiento, los vecinos de al lado parece que les gusta torturar perros!!! Estuvo toda la noche un pobre perrito llorando y quejándose, quizás por el frío o el hambre pero fue una auténtica tortura para nosotros escuchar esos lamentos y más cuando tienes sueño y quieres descansar! Lo dijimos al staff y ellos nos dijeron que iban a hablar con los vecinos, espero que lo hayan podido solucionar porque que pesar con esos animalitos!!!

    Owner not present, but sent friendly messages. Accommodation comfortable, but access both by road and into the hut treacherous. Extremely steep path and stairs. Drinking water not accessible, dog was locked into kitchen so I could no go in early morning. Showers good but could be cleaner. Sink in full view of everyone, so if you're brushing your teeth people having breakfast have to witness it. No view whatsoever. Awful smell in the hut that could not be dispersed even with window and door open and ventilator on, this was the worst aspect. Nice common area. Food very expensive. Puluong seems completely overpriced overall, we usually stay for half the price in much better accommodation.
