If you’re just in time for a night or 2 and not planning to hang out at the hotel, this is your spot. It’s not fancy. It’s a historic hotel. It’s a clean place to sleep and shower for a decent price. Parking is street parking or find a garage. This can be tricky because the front desk really has no idea about parking so they are not helpful so do your own research. We moved our car 3 times. The other thing is that the restaurant bar is no longer there but still appears on their website. The website needs to be updated.

The hotel is in a great location, but has no parking, so you are trying to find public parking along with half the city. The rooms are small and the building is old, but without much charm. The walls are very thin, so you will hear rowdy folks 24/7. It's a good choice if your only goal is to be close to the pier for a good price!

It was an okay value for what it's worth, but the walls are not very well insulated, so a lot of noise penetrates into the room, and there was a smoke detector chirping in the hall. The floor was dusty. The A/C worked well.
