Uncomfortable yung beddings nila, sobrang dilim ng ilaw inside the cabin hidden. There's a 300 pesos /person charges for bringing outside foor, understanble but it should be explain prior checking in.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore nearby areas. Facilities were well-maintained and added to the comfort of the stay. While cleanliness could have been better, the value for money was solid, making it a worthwhile choice for travelers.

I stayed at Playa Caleta with my friends to celebrate my birthday. We booked two double glamping tents and one family tent. Let me start with the positive: the view is excellent. The property is located in a cove, giving you beautiful views of the sea and the hills surrounding the area. It is quiet, peaceful, and secluded, which makes it a great setting for glamping. The coffee and drinks at the bar were also good. Unfortunately, despite the beautiful location, our overall experience was disappointing, mainly because the property did not seem to be managed well. Our biggest complaint was the restaurant and food service. There was only one restaurant and café available, and throughout our entire 3-day, 2-night stay, many items on the menu were repeatedly unavailable—regardless of what time we ordered. For example, there were no merienda items available even at around 2 PM, and this was the case throughout our entire stay. Fruits were also frequently unavailable. Considering that Bataan is known for its abundant fruits and seafood, it was surprising that even these basic items were often not available when we tried to order them. Several main dishes were also unavailable. To make matters worse, the prices are not exactly cheap. Customers should be aware that the restaurant prices are comparable to what you would expect to pay in BGC, with main courses generally costing around ₱400–₱900. At those prices, I expected better food quality and service. Unfortunately, the taste of the food was, at best, average and did not justify the price point for us. The constant back-and-forth with the waiters about which items were actually available became so frustrating that we eventually asked them to simply provide us with a list of the dishes that were currently available. I want to clarify that the staff themselves tried their best and were generally friendly and courteous. However, it was very apparent that there were management and communication issues. The waiters often seemed unaware of which items were unavailable and would only find out after checking with the kitchen once a customer placed an order. It also appeared that the kitchen and management did not have an effective inventory system. Ingredients seemed to run out frequently, resulting in dishes being unavailable. This created unnecessary frustration for both the customers and, I believe, the staff who had to repeatedly explain the situation. We also had a birthday food package included in our booking. On the actual night of my birthday, however, no one reminded us about the package or even asked whether we wanted the food served. If my friend had not proactively called to follow up, the food would not have been delivered at all. For someone celebrating a birthday and specifically paying for a food package, this was particularly disappointing. Another concern I want to mention is something we heard from other guests and came across through discussions online. My friend told me that he had read on Reddit that some negative reviews or comments about the resort had allegedly been deleted by management, which could explain why the reviews we initially saw on Google and other platforms appeared overwhelmingly positive. I cannot personally verify whether this is true, but I think it is something potential guests should be aware of and investigate for themselves. I strongly recommend checking recent Reddit discussions and other independent reviews before booking, particularly to see whether there have been changes in management and whether previous customer complaints have been addressed. Overall, the property has a lot of potential. The location, beach views, peaceful surroundings, and secluded atmosphere are genuinely beautiful and perfect for a glamping getaway. Unfortunately, the poor food availability, high restaurant prices, average food quality, lack of coordination, and management issues overshadowed those positives for us. I would not recommend Playa Caleta based
