    This is a fabulous hotel right in the heart of Tarragona and so well appointed in a really atmospheric square full of bars and restaurants.Although potentially noisy ,we didn't experience any issues in that regard once the main restaurants and bars closed.The rooms to the front of the hotel have lovely balconies where one can experience the atmosphere of this wonderful square.The rooms themselves are cosy and have everything one would need.The staff are really welcoming and as we arrived by bike they offered to store the bikes downstairs.Breakfast there was in their own cafe and was excellent .Would highly recommend Hotel plac de la font as a must stay in Tarragona.

    We was in the area so went directly to the hotel to make the booking. I thought I had booked two nights and saved 50%. Apparently my Spanish is not 100% and I only booked one night so the hotel ended up costing me 50% more than if I had booked through booking.com. Room was tiny and the air con machine kept me awake all night as it is directed on the bed, so I couldn’t sleep with it and couldn’t sleep without it as it was 35 degrees plus. Rooms were noisy, we could hear the neighbours and the pigeons. Staff were friendly. We didn’t eat or drink there but they have both.

    Hotel was lovely and close to everything we wanted to see. It was quiet at night. If I was going to stay multiple nights I would have liked a fridge.

    Well located no frills option for Tarragona . Rooms basic but clean and quiet . Could have done with stronger aircon. Suitable for travellers who won’t spend much time at the hotel . Convenient parking .
