Our experience at Pietra Blu Resort was extremely disappointing and nowhere near the standard we expected for the price we paid. One of the most unacceptable issues was the complete lack of food available anywhere at the resort after 10pm. This was not simply a case of room service being unavailable. There was literally nowhere within the resort to get food after 10pm. For a property presenting itself as a resort, this is an extremely poor level of service and convenience for paying guests. The problems continued around the pool. The tiles surrounding the pool were extremely slippery, making walking around the pool area feel unsafe. At the same time, staff were not attentive to guests around the pool and there was very little proactive service. We also had to repeatedly leave our poolside area and physically walk into the bar several times a day just to order a drink. The resort's QR ordering system would not work for us, but despite this happening repeatedly, no staff member came over to assist us or even asked whether we needed help. We were simply left to deal with it ourselves and had to keep getting up and going into the bar. There were also other basic problems during our stay: - No pool towels were available. - The telephone in our room did not work, making it difficult to contact reception when assistance was needed. - Getting a taxi was extremely difficult, with inadequate assistance from the resort. - The overall service and attention to guests were far below what we expected from a resort of this standard. These were not one-off minor inconveniences. They were multiple problems involving food, guest service, pool safety, communication and basic facilities, which collectively made our stay extremely disappointing. The experience became so unacceptable that we decided to leave the resort early. What is particularly disappointing is how the situation was handled afterwards. We had booked two rooms for five nights, but because of our experience, we left with three nights still remaining. Despite not using those three nights, both the hotel and Agoda refused to provide any refund or compensation whatsoever. That means we received no refund for six unused room-nights. After paying for two rooms for five nights, we find it extremely disappointing that neither the property nor Agoda was willing to offer any compensation after we left early because of the problems we experienced. The property may look beautiful in photographs, but our actual experience was very different. A beautiful property does not make up for poor service, inadequate guest attention, a QR ordering system that did not work for us with no assistance provided, slippery pool surroundings, limited food availability and basic facilities that were not functioning properly. We would absolutely not stay here again, and based on our experience, we cannot recommend Pietra Blu Resort to other travellers.

We had a very nice stay at Pietra Blu Hotel. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Although some areas are a little dated, the overall experience was excellent. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection and very good quality. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is also excellent — only about 10 minutes from Polignano a Mare, with convenient access to the highways, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The only area that could use some attention is the beach. The water and beach area would be much more enjoyable if some of the stones could be removed or if there were an easier, more comfortable entrance into the water. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Pietra Blu Hotel. It is a great place to stay when visiting Polignano a Mare and the beautiful Puglia region.

Hotel somewhat isolated. Fine for overnight stay. Beach consists of some sand and lots of rocks, not suitable for children or elderly to swim in sea. Rooms very comfortable withbig beds. Excellent varied breakfast. Evening buffet dinner satisfactory.
