Booked the place for early morning flight out of Phuket. Was very surprised how quiant and charming the place is. Very relaxing place. Complementary 6am free car service to airport., a nice touch. 10 minutes walk to the airport would have been a challenge with dim lights and bumpy sidewalks.
The evening spent, Eight minutes walk towards the Sirinat park beach after 5pm. No entrance fee of B200.
Walked north on the beach 10 minutes to airport runway end, watching planes taking off. Then walked south on the beach 30 minutes towards the coral reef mound for sunset view, then 15 more minutes walk south towards Naiyang beach, Enjoying street food dinner B400 on the beach front table seating.
Next ti.me when I am back to Phuket, going to spend a couple of days here first before heading into the crowded Patong & Kata area resorts.
And for sure the last day afteroon /evening stay before the next day filght out.
Highly recommend staying in the airport town. Lots of places to eat, shop and the beach.

Just a quick one night layover, driver picked us up from terminal very quickly.

They were incredibly rude when we were at the airport waiting for them to pick us up with the shuttle. They said they were on the way and we waited over 30 minutes. They never came and then we kept calling and then they just would pick up the phone and laugh and no one would be at the end of the line so we ended up just taking a grab. Very rude and terrible when we got there waiting for them to give us a shuttle. They should just say we’re not gonna give a shuttle and tell us to get the Grab instead instead of wasting our time. We wasted over 45 minutes because of them
