溫泉很優秀，有一點美中不足是溫泉區的洗身範圍，沐浴露或洗頭水等的器皿有點破舊，使用時需要很小心避免弄傷。 員工提供很多的資料 不算是很熱心的那種但是是很適中的招呼 整間酒店的風格很獨特大堂設計非常吸引 是打卡的好位置 早餐水平也算OK 歡迎點心味道很不錯 晚上能找到吃的東西很少 除了預訂酒店的餐飲之外就沒有選擇 可以步行到7–11買些小吃 或坐車出去新店站選擇比較多 如果開車順便可到新店或小碧潭逛逛 下次再來可能未必住下 再訪溫泉是很不錯的選擇 他們還有很多不同主題的溫泉房可日間租用

It's a nice hotel, but there is a sewer smell lingering that's not sulphur from a hot spring. I woke up assaulted by the smell of a blocked drain. Not pleasant especially considering the cost.

My expectations were high for this hotel because my pre-booking research lead me to believe it was one of the best hot spring hotels in the entire Taipei area. First impressions were good, nice entrance, great water feature, clean exterior and entrance, with great architecture. Unfortunately the lady who served us at check-in at 3:30pm was not friendly. No smiles, no how are you, completely robotic. She rattled through the guest information about the hotel at great speed with almost no eye contact, so she had no way of knowing if we understood anything she said. That’s pretty bad customer service, especially for a 5 star resort. We were asked to choose our breakfast options for the next morning as I’d paid for breakfast included. She asked what time we wanted our breakfast delivered to our room. I asked if we could have breakfast in the restaurant, that’s when we were told the restaurant was being redecorated, so only room service was available. Again, that’s bad customer service. I’m a pretty easy going character, I don’t get triggered easily, none of these things upset me, I just thought wow this is a bit underwhelming. We ask a few questions, collected our room key for our Standard Double Room with a Street View and headed over to the canteen area for a free drink and biscuits. The staff in the canteen were lovely and friendly. They asked where we were from and gave us friendly smiles. Our room was nice, clean, well presented, had a rain shower room with a lovely big marble bath tub. The receptionist told us we had a Standard Double with a Mountain View, but it wasn’t much to look at since there was a big ugly building in front. She should have just called it a street view like it said on our itinerary. Anyway, the room was good, comfortable, and well presented. The bath tub was brilliant, large, relaxing with a nice waterfall feature. We went downstairs to check out the hot spring facilities. The lady who greeted us was ok, not exactly friendly or helpful, but nicer than the lady we encountered at check-in. My fiancee went for dip in the hot spring pool later in the afternoon. Fortunately she met another guest who regularly visits Pause Landis, she gave my fiancee a little tour of the facilities, which was great because there were no staff members anywhere apart from at the entrance desk. The hot spring facilities were very good and we went back again to enjoy them the next morning. As there were no restaurant facilities available at the hotel we went to the little restaurant next door. It was friendly, clean, and served up some good food. I tasted my first Taiwan beer there too! We heard a knock on our room door perfectly on time for breakfast, at 8:30am. I was expecting breakfast on a trolley, or on a tray with a big silver dome over the top, I was wrong, it was delivered in plastic bags, with little cardboard packages stacked inside. There wasn’t a table or chairs to eat it at in our room, so we sat on the edge of the bed and used the sideboard. The guys in the kitchen had obviously done their best to make the food look nice inside such dreadful packaging, the food was neatly positioned, and well decorated, but it wasn’t very tasty and neither of us ate much. After using the facilities again, we checked out at about 11:30am. This time we were nicely greeted by a different lady in reception, she was friendly, polite, and even helped us to organize a taxi pick up. It makes such a big positive difference to the whole experience of staying in a hotel when staff are friendly and helpful. So a big thank you to all the lovely friendly staff who made us feel welcome, but no thanks to the others, maybe you’re in the wrong line of work, or maybe you were asleep at the back of the room during customer service training.
