Location is very nice with good food around and short walks to the subway. WiFi didn’t work at all, the bathroom was not clean at all, and the room smelled pretty bad. The staff did not respond at all when I messaged them about the WiFi not working and there being no toilet paper anywhere.

Formal Complaint Regarding Unsanitary and Misrepresented Accommodations I am submitting this formal complaint regarding my recent stay. The conditions of the property were unacceptable, unsanitary, and did not match the amenities that were advertised at the time of booking. Room *** Upon arrival, I immediately noticed numerous cleanliness and maintenance issues, including: Bed sheets appeared dirty, with black track marks, brown stains, and multiple burn holes. The comforter also had visible stains. The condition of the bedding raised concerns about sanitation and possible insect exposure. The bathroom was dirty and not cleaned to an acceptable standard. The electrical outlets near the window and air conditioning unit did not work. Although the listing advertised kitchen access, there was no access to a kitchen whatsoever. Because there was no kitchen or refrigerator available, I was forced to purchase meals throughout my stay instead of storing groceries. I also had no refrigerator available to properly store my medication, which requires refrigeration. As a result, I had to place my medication near the air conditioning unit and run the AC continuously in an attempt to keep it cool. There was no common area available to sit or watch television as advertised. There was no designated trash disposal area. We were told to use the kitchen area, yet we were not allowed access to the kitchen. The hallway and stairwell consistently smelled strongly of urine, creating an unpleasant and unsanitary environment. Room *** After being moved to another room, I experienced many of the same issues: The floor had not been swept, and hair was throughout the room. There was hair on the bed, along with dried blood stains and black marks on the sheets. After removing the pillows, I found additional hair underneath them. Pillowcases and the comforter were visibly stained. Even after replacement sheets were provided, they still contained visible stains. No washcloths were provided, requiring us to purchase our own. There was no hand soap or paper towels available. The bathroom was dirty, and the floor was so unsanitary that we had to purchase shower shoes to feel comfortable using it. The hallway continued to smell strongly of urine. Although the air conditioning unit functioned, it was significantly less effective than the unit in Room E and did not adequately cool the room, even when set to the highest setting. Resolution Requested The accommodations were not clean, sanitary, or accurately represented in the listing. Several advertised amenities, including kitchen access, were unavailable, resulting in additional expenses for food and supplies. The lack of refrigeration also interfered with my ability to properly store medication that required cold storage. Due to the unsanitary conditions, misleading listing, missing amenities, and additional out-of-pocket expenses, I respectfully request appropriate compensation, including a refund, and ask that this property be investigated to ensure future guests are not subjected to similar conditions.
