Staying here felt less like checking into a hotel and more like coming home to a home you didn't know you had. Tucked away from the noise and chaos of central Ubud, this little sanctuary wraps around you with a calm that's genuinely hard to find. And at the heart of it all is **Dewa** the property manager and his wonderful team. Dewa and his crew are nothing short of extraordinary. Warm, attentive, and completely genuine, they don't just manage a property, they *host* you. You can feel the love and pride they pour into every little detail, every interaction, every meal. These are people who truly care, and it shows in everything they do. They communicate via WhatsApp, which is different from a traditional hotel setup, but honestly? It adds to the personal, intimate charm of the place. It just works. Breakfast is cooked fresh for you every single morning — not a buffet, not a spread — just Dewa's team in a kitchen making your meal with real care and heart. The options are limited, and if variety matters to you, that's worth knowing upfront. But what you get in return is something a buffet could never offer: food made with intention, just for you. This is not a property trying to impress you with four-star polish. It's something far rarer — a place, and a team of people, that make you feel genuinely *at home*. If you come here to decompress, slow down, and just *be*, you will leave a different person. My heart genuinely stayed behind when I checked out. I'll be back. 🤍

We had the most wonderful 6-day stay at Pangkung Carik Villa by GenuineHost! We chose this beautiful place to celebrate our 12th anniversary and my fiancée's 28th birthday, and the team truly made it magical. They followed all of our requests for a special surprise perfectly. The hosts and staff are super kind and accommodating. Special thanks to Dewa (head staff), Dodik (night staff), and Guzman and Denhu (midnight staff) for their incredible service at all hours. The villa itself is a golden gem—immaculate, spacious, with phenomenal interiors, a great pool, fantastic AC, and amazing food. We had so much fun and highly recommend this stay to everyone!
