This establishment is very conveniently located within walking distance from the train station or bus stop. It has a downstairs onsen available for use 24/7. The staff are very helpful and speak English, Japanese and Thai.

This place is great. The Thai manager was extremely helpful and the onsen was perfect. It even has a games room.

First time staying in Beppu, this place is very cheap in price per night. However, during the entire stay, never see any staff around, key was left on the counter. (there are 12pm, and 9pm, both time, no staff), left early around 8am next day, no staff again. Room was big, including toilet, but on the 3rd floor, there is no lift, so it would be effort to some travelers. Onsen within the hostel is simple but comfortable, i have using it alone both at night and in the morning, so i am happy. Issue: When i enter the room, the bed was not changed, clearly it was left unchanged, with body hair left on the bed sheet. so remake the bed, not an issue, but certainly unpleasant, made you question about the cleanliness. Also the trash was not cleared, a full trash bin in my room of stay. Like i said, no staff around, so i have to deal with it, luckily just a night only. So plus (price, access near highway bus stop, simple onsen) & minus (no lift, room not cleaned at all) about this place

The location was decent and convenient enough for getting around. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, which we appreciated. However, the bathroom felt a bit run down, and we noticed some mold, which was disappointing. With better maintenance and upkeep in that area, the overall experience could be much improved.
