Not a recommeded place to stay

Had a wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed the facilities. The sauna and the hottub were very nice. The bed was comfy and we both slept soundly. Breakfast was included. Not much of a view outside, but the sunlight lit up the room nicely. Good privacy, very quiet.

Room is clean and neat. Staff is very nice and friendly. Entry and route towards hotel rooms are not good (too steep). Location is not so well for foreign travellers too as it is quite far from Taipei Main City.

Reception staff initially here was not so friendly (didn't speak a word just used translation app, but eventually got another member of staff to help), being a motel setup, it's not the most approachable place if you are on foot and comes across as a love hotel, it advertises short (4hr) rooms at the entrance so came across not as family friendly.
Inside however it was the opposite, there seems to be 2 separate hotels, and we stayed in a more family friendly building. The inside was as advertised, a very large space, with comfortable beds, drinks and a slide for kids. There wasn't much of a view from the windows.
Location a bit further than comfortable to go on foot, definitely take a taxi as it's all uphill and gets progressively steeper. It really is a Motel, so without a car, think twice about booking it.
Breakfast had to be chosen from reception staff the night before, rather than a buffet, however it was one of the best breakfasts I had in Taipei.
