I’ve never really stayed in a hostel or hostel/hotel set up but Onederz Koh Rong is amazing tho there are a lots of things that needed to be improved.
*Housekeeping Team, despite of the sign put outdoor. They still lack of awareness and needed to be reminded from time to time. I booked a private room but unfortunately they wouldn’t clean the room properly. Aside from that they wouldn’t replenish the basic kit, there was one time when I asked for a room clean and came back with still a dusty room (I keep and tidy my own bed, but what they did. They just took the towels literally) used utensils was not taken, they didn’t even sweep or mop the floors. Cockroaches and mosquitoes are all over the places even when I asked for mosquito spray and cleaning. PS THIS HAPPENED TWICE!
*Receptionist Team, front desk would tell you that you can react to them anytime. Unfortunately, once you reach them out it would take hours for them to response but once you see them at the front they’re all chatting to each other and would direct you to message online.
*The shower, I have been addressing the shower in Room B003 since the day of my checked-in. To my dismay they offered me to just take a shower in a female dorm. Which doesn’t make any sense as I booked my own room with a personal bathroom.
*Hallway, I’m aware that this is a hostel. But apparently people are loud all over the hallway. Shouting and screaming.
*The Staffs, restaurant staffs are very welcoming. They’re someone you can talk too and ask for recommendations, unfortunately the receptionist aren’t they would just tell you to message online but apparently they take hours to response on Single inquiry.
Onederz Koh Rong is a really nice place located in the most perfect area as well but for its price and service it’s not worth there are lots of resorts like 2mins away from Onederz that could give and offer a better service. I would love to give praise to Ms. Choon or Chhon (Sorry if I mispelled her name wrong) for being such a sweetheart during my stay in Onederz her and the small guy (Not Mr.Sal) from her team are the only one who’s really hands on to all the guests. Overall it was still a good stay!
