Fat lady from reception kicked my elderly parents out of the room as they were finishing packing. She also tried to keep the deposit. Terrible customer service.

Review of Coral Reef Guesthouse, Fort Lauderdale
I recently stayed at the Ocean Reef in Fort Lauderdale and, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory.
Cleanliness: The room did not meet my expectations for cleanliness. I noticed that the bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned, and the linens appeared stained, which was quite off-putting.
Customer Service: The front-desk person had me waiting for almost an hour outside the office while she was having a refreshment. She was even rude.
Facilities: The property itself feels outdated, with worn-out furnishings that could benefit from renovation. The overall ambiance did not match the modern standards I anticipated.
Overall, my stay at the Coral Reef was disappointing, and I would not recommend it to others seeking a comfortable and pleasant experience in Fort Lauderdale.
