    I had a lovely stay here! It’s a nice little boutique hotel, with a common area and a common outdoor patio. There’s free nespresso coffee, ice, tea, water dispenser, and a microwave in the common area. And there’s some beverages and snacks available for purchase at the front. My room had a little empty refrigerator, perfect for keeping leftovers and cold drinks. It’s located on the edge of Oakland Chinatown! I love grabbing food at the nearby spots. I never felt unsafe, but I used to live in the area so I know my way around. It’s only a few blocks away from the 12th Street BART train station, so it was super convenient. And I could walk to my concert at the Fox Theater no problem.

    It was really nice to stay here for a night. They maintain cleanliness, and the room was spacious enough for myself. For my case, there’s nothing that I wanted to ask for.

    Oaktown Roost was a great fit for us, making a quick trip and needing a clean and comfortable home base. The staff were nice and accommodating, and the online check-in was super easy/smooth.

    To start the room was plenty big with comfortable bed, and fridge, with all new styling and room effects. Hindrances where no luggage cart and no temporary parking at front door. Then lack of closet, just room coat hanger with two hangers. So really great for one night, as location was perfect for arena concert!
