I have been staying in Accor group of hotels whenever I travel. I love this Novotel in Phnom Penh. Service is good, staffs are friendly and very attentive and the breakfast has a wide spread and I love the cold pressed juice and self make waffles and pancake counter. Wide selections. Rooms are good size and I will be back again.

We called for late check in. Reservation says 3 pax. They could have prepared the room for us. Instead, when we are in the room need to call for the set up. And the receptionist says that the sofa is a bed. we need to instruct them to have it set up. Even with towels, water, mugs, toothbrush etc, everything needs to be requested coz nothing was prepared. We arrived late in the evening but we did notify them about late check in. The sole receptionist that was alone around midnight of sept 25 must be a scammer since he keeps on insisting we leave our credit card to him. He must have thought guests are kinda stupid if we're gonna do that. We've been to many countries around the world but it's the first time a hotel staff would insist on us leaving our credit card to him

I stay in Phnom Penh so I do a lot of stacations in different hotels so I am in a position where I can easily compare. It was my first stay here and sadly I won't be coming back.. there are much better hotels in the vicinity offering better services at same or lower pricing.. the staff seemed unresponsive or not proactive to guest needs.. their smart TV supposedly could not even play YouTube and they had no solution for it.. the extra bed had to be requested rather than proactively being provided and my room was charged for 3 adults while booking..
