    My Thai wife and myself (an American) stayed for one night at Nicha@Ayutthaya on our way back from Chai Nat to west Bangkok. The place looks and feels quite new, and our 2nd floor room was sparkling clean. The friendly lady at the front desk who appears to be the owner or manager very kindly arranged for us to have a delicious multi-course vegan breakfast the morning we were to leave, and she let us check out about 25 minutes past the normal noon time when we were running late in returning from Wat Yai Chai Mongkol. And then she graciously let us store our bags in the lobby for over 6 hours while we explored several wats in the historic area. Some former guests have commented about the quirky design flaw in some (or all?) of the rooms-- namely, the location of the wash basin on the balcony outside, beyond the room's sliding glass door, away from the rather small shower / toilet room. I found it to be an annoyance but no real hardship. But then my wife and i were only staying for one night. A longer stay, or a stay with parents and children, might make this more onerous. I'd mention that the "Organic Room" mini-market and health-food eatery is just a 3 minute walk east of Nicha@Ayutthaya. It's more oriented to folks on a Keto diet but has enough menu items for vegans like ourselves.

    A quaint little hotel few meters of the river. Breakfast was buffet style and different menu each day of stay giving guests a variety. Very near to different eateries along the road. About 3 to 4km from city.

    Location is along the river. Not far from historic areas, walking distance to good restaurants, access to areas for jogging. The hotel seems very new. The staff is friendly and serves a good breakfast. The room was very comfortable and clean, and had a new TV. Would repeat if I'm there again.
