Nearest Hostel Pasay City by RedDoorz

Extremely disappointing — not as shown in the photos I have been using RedDoorz since last year, so I trusted the brand and expected a clean, safe, and decent place to stay. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst accommodation experiences I have had. I stayed for 5 nights, and the actual room was far worse than what was shown in the Agoda photos. The pictures gave me a completely different expectation, but the actual condition of the room was very disappointing. The bed appeared to have bed bugs, and there were cockroaches of different sizes inside the room. The shower was not functioning properly, the toilet flush had problems, and the faucet water was yellowish with a rusty smell, which made me uncomfortable using it. The room also had very poor ventilation, no garbage bin, and the room door was secured with an unusually small padlock that looked more like a lock for carry-on luggage. This made me seriously concerned about the security of my belongings. The Wi-Fi was also not working during my stay. I understand there was a reported maintenance problem affecting the main line in Pasay, so I can understand that this particular issue may not have been completely within the property’s control. However, combined with all the other problems, it made the five-night stay even more difficult. I booked this room because I needed somewhere to rest and attend to important personal matters, but instead I experienced additional stress and discomfort throughout my stay. What disappointed me most was the difference between the photos and the actual accommodation. The room shown online did not reflect the condition I experienced. Guests should be able to expect the accommodation to reasonably match its listing. For me, the price I paid per night was not justified by the condition of the room. Basic cleanliness, pest control, bathroom facilities, security, ventilation, and room maintenance should be provided regardless of the property. I would not recommend this accommodation based on my experience. I hope Agoda and RedDoorz will review this property and ensure that the listing photos accurately represent the actual rooms and that basic standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance are properly maintained. This was unfortunately a very unpleasant five-night stay, and I would not want other guests to experience the same problems.

Friendly staff so courteous. Even if the room is small it’s clean. The only thing is that the toilet has no sink where you can brush your teeth. It’s also cool, it’s quiet. It’s so good to sleep.

The whole area smells like shit. The rooms were very small. Deceiving picture in the Agoda App but it reality, it was even worse. So different from actual unit.
