Beautiful resort with a nice beach, staff friendly and helpful. The spa closed down, so you can basically only lounge around, swim in your private pool, hot-tub or one of the resort pools. Resort restaurants are expensive lots of local Chinese estaurants outside.

Good but definitely not a 5 stars experience. Great breakfast, nice room, beautiful place in general. However, the communication with the staff was very difficult as nobody is speaking another language than mandarin. We asked if the hotel organizes something for NYE and the staff told us that nothing was organized. However, on NYE they had a special buffet with live music planned and it was fully booked by the time we figured it out. Nobody also informed us about the photoshooting option that is included. Nobody informed us about the free shuttle to the train station until the night before departure and they told us we had 1h to confirm, which we missed as we are not on our phone constantly. We also found a cockroach in the room. There was only cold water at the shower of the gym. They also charge an extra 15% for room service and if you do pick up from the restaurant the size of the meals are twice smaller the usual size. One of their 2 restaurants was closed and the bar at the beach was closed too. Also we could not use the pool by the beach for whatever reason. Unfortunately it didn't meet the expectations you can legitimaly have from such resort.
