There is a very good viewpoint at the back area of the hotel. You can see the local lake, calls “Kwan Phayao” and the sculpture of Naka from there. Also, the good breakfast.

Some places are simply somewhere to stay; others become part of the journey. Naga Tara Boutique Resort was definitely the latter. From the moment we arrived, there was an immediate sense of calm. Beautifully situated beside a serene lake, the resort enjoys a wonderful natural setting where the surroundings seem to slow everything down. The peaceful waters, greenery and open spaces create an atmosphere that is both refreshing and relaxing — a perfect escape from the usual hustle and bustle. The location itself is one of the resort’s greatest strengths. Being next to the lake gives the property a special character, particularly in the quieter hours of the day when the surroundings are beautifully tranquil. Yet, despite its peaceful setting, the resort is conveniently located, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. The resort’s swimming pool is another lovely feature — inviting, well maintained and perfectly suited for relaxing after a day of travelling or sightseeing. It adds to the feeling that this is a place designed not just for accommodation, but for actually enjoying your stay. Our room was a particularly pleasant surprise. Spacious, thoughtfully laid out and comfortably appointed, the overall setup is comparable to what one would expect from many international hotel brands. Everything felt well considered, from the room layout to the comfort and functionality. The Wi-Fi worked very well, which is always appreciated, especially when travelling. Another feature that deserves mention is the huge parking area. Having such generous parking space is a real convenience, particularly for guests travelling by car. There is no sense of struggling to find a space or manoeuvring in a cramped area. Breakfast was ample and satisfying, with enough variety to start the day comfortably. More importantly, the service throughout our stay was excellent. The staff were pleasant, attentive and professional, while still maintaining the warmth and friendliness that makes a stay memorable. What stood out most, however, was the balance Naga Tara achieves — nature without sacrificing comfort, tranquillity without feeling isolated, and boutique character without compromising on the standards expected from a quality hotel. We left feeling refreshed and genuinely pleased with our choice. Naga Tara Boutique Resort is one of those places that quietly exceeds expectations, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable and well-managed stay surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. An outstanding experience from arrival to departure. Definitely a place worth discovering — and a resort we would be very happy to return to.

Nice breakfast, slightly poor since insulation
