Really fabulous experience. Great hotel and accommodations; fantastic views; friendly staff. Shout out to our server Harry at Cliffside who was awesome. Also Valerie the TaiChi instructor was AMAZING! Would highly recommend this resort . This was our first stay but won’t be our last.

Unhelpful staff (particularly Curtis). Our room had defective sliding net and defective washer & drier which was not fixed neither viable alternate solution provided even after escalation to Manager, Laura. Front desk rarely answers even when there is staff at front desk! If you want something like toiletries, you have to go down and get it yourself, unheard of in even a mediocre resort!!! We made reservation thinking that the exorbitant price will at least bring us value. Resort is not even on the waterfront. It was quite disappointing!

Heading up to Gravenhurst was a wonderful getaway for us. The location of Muskoka Bay resort is beautiful. Meals in the restaurant were delicious, although we had to wait more than half an hour for our table, even though we had a reservation. The rooms are spare, white with stainless steel in the kitchen, no carpeting on the floors and little furniture to set down suitcases, or any pillows that you don't need from the bed. I don't like to put things on the floor. The weather was cool so we wanted to be somewhere cozy. The pool and the sauna are removed from the hotel, so you need to take a shuttle bus. I had wanted to take advantage of the sauna because the weather was cold, but the thought of going outside bundled up and then stripping down off site just didn't appeal to me.... We were there in April, but the pool site did look very pretty so I imagine it's lovely sitting out there in the summer months.
