The room just seemed to be lax. I could see what they were trying to do but it just comes off as cheap and not well thought out. I wouldn't recommend this place. The staff were great!

I had a 1 night stay before my flight out of Frankfurt and they had a free shuttle service from the airport which does not go right up to the front door but drops you outside at the main road. It costs about 4 or 5 Euros for a trip back to the airport. The restaurant staff were warm and welcoming but the front desk staff looked really miserable. They also ignored my pleas to get the family next door to keep their volume down.

I had booked my stay starting from the 3rd of February specifically to ensure an early morning check-in on the 4th. The selected payment option was “Pay at Property,” and I had clearly informed the hotel in advance about my arrival time.
Despite this, the hotel attempted to charge my card the day before my arrival without prior notice. As I was on a flight at the time, I was unable to authorize the transaction. The payment was declined, and as a result, my card was blocked, causing unnecessary inconvenience.
Upon arrival, I informed the hotel that I would settle the bill in cash. The hotel accepted 60% of the total amount as an advance and stated that the remaining balance could be paid at check-out. However, the next day my room key card was suddenly deactivated. When I went to reception, I was told it was because the full payment had not been made. This was both embarrassing and unprofessional. If full prepayment was required, it should have been clearly communicated and collected at check-in. When I asked why this had not been done initially, no satisfactory explanation was provided.
The room facilities were also highly disappointing. Although we were assigned a double-bed room, only one towel was provided. For any additional towel, we were instructed to request it from reception, which is unacceptable for a double occupancy room.
Furthermore, the room lacked basic amenities such as a waste bin, locker, or cabinet. Clothes had to be hung on the wall using just two hangers. These are fundamental facilities that guests should not have to compromise on.
Housekeeping standards were equally poor. The bathroom was not cleaned daily. Upon check-in, the bathroom mirror was visibly dirty. Even after changing rooms, the mirror in the new room was also unclean, indicating a consistent lack of proper housekeeping.
Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and poorly managed.
Unless there are no other options available, I would strongly advise travelers to consider alternative accommodations.
