    You stay at your house of a duplex in the woods. If you were across the street from us, you could walk down your backyard to the lake. Even though you’re in the woods, the clubhouse has a restaurant golf tennis and who knows what else

    I spent two nights at the resort chalet. It was a first time for our party of 5 in Shasta and we would be back again to the place. The chalet is comfortable and well equipped. It was very well cleaned and in good shape. The location is great, just in front of Lake Siskiyou and short drive to Shasta city and Weed. We use it as a base to visit the falls (MacCloud and Burney). The lake is also great for a dip and has an awesome shaded 6.5 miles trail. I highly recommend.

    I would not recommend this resort. While the room was very nice, the resort lacked several things. First, there was no safe in the room to lock valuables. Second, there was no housekeeping provided each day. Third, while they had a restaurant, it was only open for lunch and dinner. No breakfast at all. Lastly, the resort had no pool or hot tub. Very disappointing for a resort.

    Nice and cozy chalet/cabin with 2 bedrooms, kitchen (with complete utensils), dining, and spacious living rooms. Kids love it. Clean. Value for money. 5 minutes drive to the town where there are a big supermarket that opens until 11pm and laundromat until 9pm. 12 mins drive to the Snowman Hill public park for sledding/tubing. Only disappointment was we had to wait for 1 hour before we can get into our unit at 4.40pm (their checkin time was supposed to be 4pm).
