I have frequented Motel 6 for many years for several reasons. I like to save money where I can and motel 6 does that for me. The recent upgrades, make thus economy lodging feel more mid level while remaining easy on the pocketbook, pets are generally no charge

For years, the motel 6 has been my first choice for lodging bc of the low cost.i do nor require much more than easy check in, a hot shower & a place to lay my head.
This stay changed my view and influenced my decision for lodging. I reserved my room online and upon arrival for check-in. My plan was to check-in, drop off my bags and go to grab something to eat. The staff refused to accommodate me because my brother, whom was not a guest and was not staying with me, was in the passenger seat of my car. They insisted on him providing id because he was helping me carry my bags into the room as I am disabled. I was clear that he was only helping with my bags and not a guest. They did not care and refused to accommodate me stating that he must produce id to even be on the property. I asked them if I dropped him off at the restaurant and came back alone if I could check in and they still refused me service. I have no history of being a problematic customer. I will no longer patron the motel 6.
