    The hotel is around 15-20 minute walk to West Street and the walk is flat so location is convenient. There are lots of restaurants near by. The rooms are quite stylish with comfy beds. But there is a lack of storage and hanging space for clothes and towels. The showers are strong with plenty of hot water. The hotel reception area is nicely decorated but around the hotel, there seems to areas that are half finished. One such area is the pool which has a bare concrete wall around it. There is some bamboo cladded areas but it is not finished. But the pool itself is a good size and ok for swimming. Not many hotels in Yangshuo have pools and especially not budget hotels. The breakfast is included in the price but it is nothing to write home about. Only soy milk to drink, plain congee, local noodles, boils egg and different types of bread. If you can eat that type of food, it’ll get you filled but don’t expect any enjoyment from it. The staff are friendly and helpful. The biggest draw to this hotel is the price which for what you get is a bargain.

    Had a wonderful stay at Morning Sun Hotel. It's not too far from West Street, but also not too close if you need more peace and quiet.
