    Our stay was truly lovely. The house has such a cosy, homely atmosphere — the shared spaces are inviting and comfortable, and there’s a beautiful sunroom perfect for relaxing with a book or a cup of tea while enjoying the view of the garden. Our room had everything we needed, including a small private bathroom. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the whole place was quiet at night, so we rested really well. The real highlight was definitely the food. Both breakfast and dinner were exceptional — we were treated to a five-course meal made with local, seasonal ingredients, each dish beautifully presented and full of flavour. It was a wonderful way to experience homemade regional cuisine. They also went out of their way to prepare delicious vegetarian options for us, which we really appreciated. The staff made the experience even more special. The owner was welcoming and attentive without ever being intrusive, the waitress was knowledgeable and kind, and the chef’s passion and warmth shone through every dish. Their genuine hospitality made us feel so comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. The location is also excellent, you’re perfectly situated between the city centre, with shops and restaurants, and Kegon Falls, which is about 20 minutes away by bus. There’s a bus stop conveniently right across the road for both directions. The surrounding area is lush and peaceful, with plenty of greenery and nice spots for a short walk. We left with full hearts (and stomachs!) and would absolutely love to return.
