Mokpo M Hotel

Avoid this place if you are looking for an actual hotel. Despite the 'hotel' name, this is a poorly converted love motel. We travel to Korea for two months at a time, visiting twice a year for the past three years, and this is by far the worst place we’ve stayed. We paid $33 (approx. ₩45,000) per nightfor a weekday stay. While that is a budget price, the room was dated and dirty, and the bathroom smell was so stomach-turning we almost left after the first night. We recently stayed at Hotel Vantt in Gwangju for the same price, and the quality difference is night and day; that was a 3+ star hotel with 5-star service and staff. When you are staying 2 months at a time across various cities, $100+ a night for a weekend is a lot by Korean standards, but we almost paid it just to escape this place. Sure, we pay well over $100 when we stay in Seoul and cities like that, but for this price point, you can do so much better. This property is only suitable for 'hourly' rentals for obvious reasons. Absolute 'yuk' factor. If you still decide to stay here after reading this, it’s on you.

thisbhiyel offers fantastic value with a prime loca That makes exploring easy, while the cleanliness is top-notch and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a place I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great stay in Mokpo!

we stayed one night. but i would rather not recommend to stay with children or longer. for short and cheap stays for adults is it ok. bathroom needs renovation. but it was clean.
