    I stayed here for two nights and found it to be a very budget-friendly hostel. The rooftop café was a nice addition, offering a pleasant space to relax. One issue I faced was being charged a penalty of 100 pesos for late check-in after 11 PM, which I feel should not have happened. Apart from that, everything else was fine. The bed linen was clean, and the toilets were well maintained, making the stay comfortable overall. Pros: Affordable pricing Rooftop café Clean bed linen and toilets Cons: Penalty for late check-in after 11 PM Overall, it’s a good option for budget travelers, with decent facilities and a nice rooftop café.

    Unfortunately, during my stay, we were robbed while we were asleep around 2 a.m. Someone entered our room and stole our belongings. The experience left me feeling shaken and unsafe. Although our phones were eventually recovered not everything was returned. Because of this, I can’t wholeheartedly recommend staying here and would choose a different place next time. What surprised me was that even after we called the police and they had already entered the property to assist us none of the staff woke up despite all the noise. The staff were very helpful after the incident, but to me that is only a reactive response. I hope the hostel improves its security by locking the entrance gate at night, installing more CCTV cameras, and informing guests about the available lockers. I remember that reception did not explicitly mention the lockers, although we were told that we couldn’t lock the door because the gate is already locked and someone is on duty. However, since the theft happened while we were sleeping, it’s not practical to expect guests to keep their phones, wallets, passports, and other essential belongings locked away overnight.
