Our stay at Milaidhoo exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything was simply outstanding. The resort itself is absolutely stunning. It is beautiful, modern, impeccably clean, and maintained to perfection. Every detail reflects the care and passion of the team. What truly makes Milaidhoo exceptional, however, is its people. Every single member of the staff was genuinely warm, friendly, and attentive. They anticipated our needs without ever being intrusive. One detail we particularly appreciated was that they always asked whether we wanted a full explanation of the island and its facilities or whether we preferred to find our own way around. That perfectly reflects the personalized philosophy of the resort. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, and Milaidhoo went far beyond anything we expected. Throughout our stay, they surprised us three different times by beautifully decorating our villa and bathtub with flowers, romantic arrangements, chocolates, fresh fruit, and delicious desserts. They also treated us to three complimentary bottles of Champagne, and on one morning they served us a wonderful Champagne breakfast with anniversary cake directly in our villa. Every surprise felt sincere and incredibly thoughtful. Our butler was exceptional. He coordinated all our activities according to the weather, restaurant reservations, and our own preferences, making everything effortless and perfectly organized. We started our stay with a spa treatment, and it was one of the best massages we have ever experienced. The therapists carefully customized the treatment according to our preferences, asking exactly where we wanted more attention. The aromas, tea, hospitality, and peaceful atmosphere made it an unforgettable experience. One of the absolute highlights was the private Sandbank BBQ. The location was breathtaking—a tiny, pristine sandbank in the middle of the Indian Ocean that felt like our own private island. When we arrived, everything had already been prepared: a shaded lounge area exclusively for the two of us, together with our own private chef and dedicated waiter. The food was extraordinary. We enjoyed premium ingredients including A5 Wagyu beef, fresh local Yellowfin tuna, pork, and perfectly grilled lamb chops, all cooked over charcoal right on the sandbank. Whenever we requested something that wasn’t available there, the team simply brought it from the resort without hesitation. While enjoying lunch, we spent a long time watching the local birds courting each other, sharing food, nesting, and interacting. They were incredibly entertaining, and I jokingly told my wife that they reminded me of us celebrating our anniversary. We also joined the Manta Ray snorkeling excursion. Although we didn’t encounter manta rays—which is completely understandable since they are wild animals in their natural habitat—we swam alongside several sea turtles from a very close distance and even spotted a smaller ray, making it a wonderful experience. Exploring the island was another unexpected pleasure. We visited the organic garden, where we discovered a flying fox for the first time. My wife had never seen one before and initially thought it was a bird! We also saw a fascinating local fruit tree producing enormous fruits unlike anything we had seen before. The beach is exactly what you imagine when dreaming about the Maldives: powder-white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and immaculate surroundings. Dining throughout our stay was consistently exceptional. Every meal was beautifully prepared with premium ingredients and remarkable attention to detail. Breakfast deserves special recognition. The buffet offered an extensive international selection of fresh fruits, cheeses, breads, pastries, sashimi, honey, homemade jams, cereals, and much more. Everything here is perfect

If you are looking for a nice, romantic island with exceptional service and excellent food, this is the place to go. This was our second time to Maldives. From the start to end, it was an exceptional experience. Our butler met us twice every day and anything we asked or needed, it was promptly done. In fact, it was amazing to see that even things we did not ask for but they figured we may have a need for, were done. They looked for opportunities to be proactive. They not only allowed us to stay until 230 pm on the day of our departure, they actually cleaned our room that morning. We have stayed at many luxury properties all across the world but have never seen a resort do that. We had half board. Ocean restaurant was amazing. We tried the shoreline grill too and the ambiance was great. All restaurants are right on the ocean. It is not always the case. We had sea waves few feet away and the entire ambiance and experience for breakfast and dinner was amazing. The Chef was great. They go out of the way to create any variation of the dishes or even new dishes to your liking. One of the best breakfast in the world. You can choose from a menu plus a buffet. Fresh juices are also served. Yes, it is small but that makes it very exclusive. Arrival and departure experience was also “perfect”. We were greated by their representative as soon as we got off. They took care of our luggage, took us to the seaplane terminal on a private vehicle and we were on seaplane within 30 minutes of reaching at the terminal. On the way back, we had same representative take us all the way to checkin counter. We stayed at a water Villa. These having an amazing setup. The swing was great. I wish they had full cover on the day bed so we could use it more often. Pool is very private. We did not hear any neighbors. Not much traffic in front of villa. Big plus is the coveted part. We faced sunset and until 2 pm, we had shade and it was nice to sit out. Not the case in many water villas. Clearly one to the premier resorts in Maldives. It is more expensive but we could see why.
