We stayed here while riding the Ha Giang and Cao Bang Loop. The staff were generally friendly, but the English speaking lad I dealt with was disappointing. As foreign guests, we had a few simple questions about the property, such as breakfast hours and massage services. He seemed uninterested, was inattentive, and made us feel as though we were inconveniencing him by asking.
The property itself is quite large, but the guest rooms are concentrated within a relatively small area. I booked a bungalow expecting more privacy. Although it is a standalone unit, it is literally only two feet from the main standard room building. The family rooms are also built like townhouses and not detached units. All of the accommodation is about a three-minute walk from the lobby.
The restaurant appears to cater mainly to large local tour groups. If you don't speak Vietnamese and are travelling as a small group, good luck getting service. Breakfast was limited to a pho station.
Overall, I found the room below expectations for the price. The shower was poorly designed, and the overall experience did not justify the cost. I would not recommend staying here.
