The comfortable stay at McVevans wonderfully complemented a two-day heritage visit to beautiful Maryborough. Well located within walking distance of most of the heritage sites, it topped off two wonderful days.

I left a google review however the owner left a very angry and unprofessional review so I’ll leave one here just because I am really aggressive apparently 🤣 Fixtures like lights don’t work, air con is dripping an it’s evident they have a mould issue that they keep trying to hide. No real lighting other than a small one in the bathroom and no fan just a window, which would explain the damp issue there. Bag saying cutlery yet only 2 knives and a teaspoon. When I simply told the lady at reception at my departure who was extremely unfriendly at check in, she became aggressive and argumentative, I as a customer was simply telling her that unit was poorly maintained however she couldn’t handle some honest feedback. Infact she felt it was important to provide an unprofessional response on google, everyone should go see her reply. Baring in mind my review was completely justified, not aggressive like she was. I have taken some photos and my rayban glasses actually recorded both interactions too as I did my due diligence prior to visiting and saw their other google reviews. So I guess they’ll be posted in due course 🤣
