    9/10 — Modern, cozy, and with an amazing rooftop view! 🌅 I had a really nice stay at Maya Hostel. The place has a very modern and stylish vibe, and I really liked the overall atmosphere. The rooms have only four people per room, which I appreciated because it feels more comfortable and less crowded. The room itself isn’t super spacious, but it was still perfectly fine for my stay. I also loved that the room was really cold and comfortable, especially after spending the day outside. One of my favorite things about Maya Hostel is definitely the rooftop pool. The view from up there is beautiful, and it’s such a nice spot to watch the sunset. You can also enjoy the view during sunrise, so it’s definitely one of the highlights of the hostel for me. 🌅 The hostel also has a really fun and social atmosphere. They have nightly activities, especially karaoke, plus a bar and lots of board games where you can hang out and meet other guests. I liked that there were plenty of spaces and activities where you could just relax and enjoy your evening. The bathroom/toilet was also clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. The room also has the essentials you need, including individual sockets, a lamp, and a cabinet for your belongings. The only major issue I encountered during my stay was the Wi-Fi connection. I had a difficult time accessing certain websites because some sites seemed to be blocked when connected to the hostel's Wi-Fi. This was a bit inconvenient, especially for anyone who needs reliable internet for work or other online activities. Another small thing to note is that towels are not provided for free and need to be rented separately. It would have been nicer if towels were already included, but it wasn’t a huge issue for me. The location is also quite far from El Nido town, so it may not be the most convenient option if you want to be within walking distance of the main town. However, I didn’t mind it too much because the hostel itself has a relaxing atmosphere and plenty of amenities to enjoy. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Maya Hostel. The rooftop pool, beautiful views, modern design, clean facilities, cold rooms, and fun social atmosphere were definitely the highlights for me. Aside from the Wi-Fi issue and the towel rental, I had a great experience. 9/10 — I would still recommend staying here, especially if you’re looking for a modern hostel with a great view and a fun atmosphere. ❤️

    Terrible WiFi. Not Ideal if you are working remotely. Place is too far from the town, you have to take a trike worth 100-150 pesos before you can go to the town. You will save money if you will book hostels in the town. Rooms are ok, not much interactions, as in nothing as the people are already in groups. Not much happening at night. Wifi is very frustrating part even in the rooms theres no wifi. So i dont recommend this
